Friday, May 9th, 2025 — The Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the Czech Republic hosted a special gathering dedicated to the memory of National Leader Heydar Aliyev.
The event brought together members of the Azerbaijani community living in the Czech Republic, and was led by Mr. Yashar Aliyev, Ambassador of the Republic of Azerbaijan to the Czech Republic.
The event marked the unveiling of a bronze bust of Heydar Aliyev, installed within the Embassy premises.
The sculpture was created by world-renowned artist Sergey Eylanbekov, whose works are celebrated internationally for their expressive realism and cultural depth.
In his remarks, Ambassador Yashar Aliyev emphasized the enduring legacy of Heydar Aliyev and the significance of unity among the Azerbaijani diaspora abroad.
The ceremony took place in a heartfelt and respectful atmosphere, filled with a sense of national pride and remembrance.
Among the distinguished guests were Zaur Gadirov, Managing Partner of Financial Chain Corporation, Teymur Akhundov, Regional Manager and Lamiya Akhunova, Administrative Assistant (FCHAIN Czechia).
The event concluded with a group photo, symbolizing the strength of the Azerbaijani community and its dedication to preserving national identity and heritage.
