FCHAIN Georgia informs:
Effective May 1, 2025, new procedures for pension contribution payments and declarations will come into force for employers in Georgia.
Under the new regulations, employers will no longer be required to submit a separate pension declaration to the Pension Agency.
Instead, pension contribution data will be automatically reflected in the Pension Agency’s system based on the income tax declaration that employers submit to the Revenue Service of Georgia.
New Deadlines and Obligations for Pension Contributions
The deadline for pension contributions is changing as follows:
Employers will be required to transfer pension contributions no later than the 15th day of the month following the salary payment month. This means that the contribution must be deposited into the Pension Fund account by this deadline.
If the amount transferred to the Pension Fund fully matches the pension contributions specified in the income tax declaration, the pension declaration will be automatically closed.
